The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, a country made pistol with a live cartridge is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 8.6.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51115 of 2021(2) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the petitioner having remained in custody for over 8 months and having no criminal antecedents, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Hajipur Nagar P.S. Case no. 449 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur.
