JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 18-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Section 47 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that 59 bottles of foreign liquor have been allegedly recovered from the motorcycle which was being driven by the petitioner. It is further contended that his antecedent is clean and he is in custody since 28.6.2016.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42857 of 2016 (2) dt.18-10-2016 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Araria in Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 183 of 2016.
