The petitioner is in custody in connection with POCSO Case No.25 of 2018, arising out of Behea P.S. Case No.317 of 2017, a case under Sections 377/506 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions JudgeI, Bhojpur at Ara. Petitioner is in custody since 28.10.2017.
Allegation is that he committed unnatural offences against a child aged about ten years. The victim has supported the allegation.
Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35386 of 2018 (4) dt.21-08-2018 P2/ Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
