JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 11-01-2016 Grievance of the petitioner is that no decision has been taken by the licensing authority-cum-District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra on his application for grant of arms licence which was filed in the year 2012.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Superintendent of Police stating that necessary recommendation has already been sent to the licensing authority. In above view of the matter, this writ petition is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate concerned to take a final decision in the matter within a period of eight weeks
