On 28.12.2015 at about 9.00 p.m., while informant was returning from petrol pump and reached near Bijli Mod, three motorcycle borne criminals intercepted him and snatched away his motorcycle, cash, mobile set. Though, from Para-102 of the case diary, it is evident that police had followed novel method by calling the informant to identify the petitioner while he was in police lock-up. However, from Para-104 of the case diary, it is evident that he declined to identify the petitioner to be one of the criminals, who snatched away cash, motorcycle as well as mobile set.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52912 of 2016 (03) dt.17-02-2017 That being so, in spite of having criminal antecedent, petitioner, Ramanand Kumar Paswan @ Ramanand Paswan is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Sadar P.
