This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S.Case no.133 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 504 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of assault on the head by 'Farsa' causing grievous injuries to him. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that another co-accused persons, having similar allegation, has already been granted anticipatory bail by the learned court below and the petitioner is in custody for about four months. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33279 of 2017 (3) dt.01-08-2017 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, as the petitioner is in custody, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of nine months.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
