JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 21-12-2020 Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects, if any, within four weeks after start of normal functioning of the Court.
This application has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender and furnish bail bonds pursuant to the order dated 09.07.2020 passed in Cr.Misc.No.6303 of 2020. By the said order, the petitioner was granted privilege of pre-arrest bail and to comply with the said order he should have surrendered within four weeks and furnish bail bonds.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that because of pandemic conditions there had been some impediment in free movement of vehicles and individuals,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34750 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 therefore, he could not surrender and furnish bail bonds within the prescribed period of four weeks. Learned counsel has prayed for extension of the time.
Mr. Pawan Kumar Chaurasiya, learned APP for the State is present. He has no objection to the said extension. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, if the petitioner surrenders and furnish the bail bonds within three weeks from today he will be given the benefit of the order dated 09.07.2020 passed in Cr.Misc.No.6303 of 2020. Rest of the said order shall remain intact.
