Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30, 30(a), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
From a Scorpio vehicle liquor was allegedly recovered and allegation is that the petitioner and others had fled away from the said vehicle. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of identical nature.
Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of six months from the date of framing of charges against the petitioner on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39442 of 2019(2) dt.28-06-2019 2/2 pending in connection with Panapur Police Station Case No. 157 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
