The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code in connection with Tariyani P.S. Case No. 34/2016. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of one Alok Kumar Singh, who has already been granted bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 16.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52331/2016 and the petitioner has remained in custody for about five months.

Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor also. Having heard both sides, in view of the facts, stated

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49037 of 2016 (3) dt.20-01-2017 2/2 above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Tariyani P.S. Case No. 34/2016, subject to conditions that one of the bailors should be relative of the petitioner and another having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the court below with further condition that he will co-operate in disposal of the trial and will make himself available before the court and failure to appear on two consecutive dates without any appropriate reason will be liable for cancellation of his bail.
