The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Ara Town P.S. Case No. 366 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner has been named as one of the assailants by the informant, although specific allegation is against Nayeem Misti. Petitioner has not been named by informant of trying to grab the land of deceased Krishna Kumar Singh. However, as petitioner has been named as one of the assailant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35533 of 2018(4) dt.18-08-2018 2/2 after one year of custody the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
