However, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1 and 2 submits that in view of subsequent developments and election of the Gram Panchayat having already taken place, the present matter has become infructuous.

Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
