The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, a loaded country made pistol with a live cartridge is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedent. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 21.7.2020 and charge sheet has been submitted.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51109 of 2021(2) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year 7 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Amas P.S. 143 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M, Sherghati, District Gaya.
