Considering the dispute/limited claim with regard to payment of interest on delayed payment of some of the retrial dues, the application is disposed of with the consent of both the parties.

The father of the petitioner served the government as the Headmaster, Primary School Porchakha, Satish Nagar, Parbatta in the district of Khagaria and retired sometimes in 2000. After his death in 2004 the present writ application was filed in 2014 for payment of interest on delayed payment of some of the retrial dues.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9659 of 2014 (2) dt.05-02-2016 2/2 The petitioner himself has stated that the dues of the GPF payable to the employee was paid in 2006. Similarly, arrear of pension of his father was paid in April, 2012. Arrear of salary due to time-bound promotion was paid in 2006. According to the petitioner, these dues having been paid belatedly, the petitioners would be entitled to payment of interest thereon. Without opining any view on the claim(s), the writ application stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to raise a grievance in this regard before the appropriate authority of the State Government for consideration and disposal in accordance with law.
