The petitioner seeks bail in Baniyapur P.S. Case No. 54 of 2000, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364, 120B and 324 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant is Khalasi of Jeep bearing registration no. BR04A 0918. It is alleged that on direction of vehicle owner Hemant Singh, he proceeded through the said vehicle on hire to Baniyapur. One person who hired the vehicle boarded there and on the way four persons also boarded on the same vehicle. On the way, one of them gave knife blow on his neck. The informant tried to snatch the knife, but he received cut injury on his hand, thereafter, informant got down from the vehicle and fled away.

Name of this petitioner has come in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Raj Kishore Pandey. No incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. No Test Identification Parade has been held till date. Chargesheet has already been submitted. Petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II, Saran, Chapra in connection with Baniyapur P.S. Case No. 54 of 2000 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 60 of 2018.
