JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-08-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 3 of 2017, arising out of DRI F. No. DRI/LZU/PRU/718(II)/ENQ-01-2017, dated 04.01.2017, instituted for the offence under Section 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 10.01.2018.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that up-till now, only three witnesses have been examined and the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 04.01.2017.

No good ground has been made out by the learned counsel for the petitioner for this Court to give a relook at the case for the purposes of grant of bail. The prayer for bail is, therefore, rejected.

However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a reasonable period. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) Praveen-II/- U T
