The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498/368/120/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation of torture whereas it is alleged against this petitioner that by feeding some sweets he intoxicated the informant, when the informant regain his senses she found herself in a house with 3 and 4 other women and from whom she came to know that this petitioner being the friend of her husband sold her after taking consideration amount of Rs.50,000/-.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been roped in the present case only because

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38230 of 2015 (2) dt.19-08-2015 2/2 he is friend of the husband of the informant. Moreover, A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No.211 of 2012, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria.

With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
