1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the instant application is being filed for quashing of the order dated 19.04.2017 contained in letter no. 490 (Annexure-1) issued under the signature of respondent no. 2 whereby the respondent no. 4 rejected the compassionate appointment of the petitioner due to notification of the Finance Department dated 31.03.2011 though the petitioner has applied in the year 2007 when the requisite qualification was 8th Pass and further for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15883 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2024 2/2 respondent authorities to reconsider the claim of the petitioner as the subsequent letter with retrospective effect and further for issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the petitioner is entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to approach the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Division, Madhubani for redressal of his aforesaid grievances in terms of the letter of the General Administration Department dated 04.02.2015 as also in terms of the letter of the District Magistrate, Madhubani dated 31.07.2019, written to the Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Division, Darbhanga. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
