Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is said to have given one sword blow causing grievous injury on the head of the injured but there is case and counter case between the parties and it appears that persons from both sides sustained injuries.

However, it also appears from the written report that alleged occurrence took place on account of throwing of dirty water i.e. on account of a petty dispute.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief
