JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 30-08-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hasanpur P.S. Case No. 269 of 2016, registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 47 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

From perusal of the record, it appears that earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 07.04.2017 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10059 of 2017 with a direction to the court below to expedite the trial and try to conclude the same within a period of six months and the petitioner was given liberty that if the trial was not concluded within the aforesaid period, he may renew his prayer for bail, however, it appears that the said period of six months has not expired and the present application has been filed.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36723 of 2017 (3) dt.30-08-2017 2/2 In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, his application for regular bail is, accordingly, dismissed.
