2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code corresponding to Sections 318, 316 and 61(2) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the brother of the complainant has taken huge sum from her for securing job in Class-IV category in Civil Court.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the name of this petitioner has been dragged in this case as on his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41977 of 2026(2) dt.29-06-2026 2/2 phone-pay Rs. 49,000/- twice were sent by the complainant. It has further been submitted that he has received those amount on the instruction of the brother of the complainant i.e. Ravi Ranajn Kumar who is accused no.1 in this complaint and has returned the same to Ravi Ranjan Kumar. The main thrust of allegation is against Ravi Ranjan Kumar. Moreover, this case is based on complaint petition. Petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 19.03.2026.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the application for bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned JMFC, Barh, Patna in connection with Compliant Case No. 781(C) of 2024.
