The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498 (A), 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It appears vide order dated 17.11.2022, the petitioner was granted provisional bail for a period of six months and the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Patna High Court. The mediation report is kept at Flag-P. It suggests that mediation between the parties could not succeed. As per prosecution case, it is a case of demand of dowry due to non-fulfillment of dowry. Allegation against the husband and his family members is that they have demanded

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner and the informant have decided to part ways. Both sides agreed that a sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Three lakhs) will be paid by the petitioner to the informant as one time settlement and in this respect, the said amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- will be paid in two equal installments within two months. Both sides agrees to withdraw all the cases filed against each other.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant does not controvert the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the fact that both sides have amicably decided to settle the dispute and steps have been taken to finally resolve the dispute between the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge X, Purnea in connection with Mahila P.S.
