2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sheikhpura Mahila P.S. Case No. 02 of 2025 dated 04.02.2025 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 85, 127(2), 109, 140(3), 303(2) read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant alleged that her marriage was solemnized with the petitioner and thereafter, the petitioner and his sister used to torture the informant. They also demanded dowry and aborted her pregnancy for which a case was lodged earlier. The informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39394 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2025 2/3 alleged that the informant was subjected to continuous harassment and was forcefully taken away and made to disappear by her In-laws with the intention to kill her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The occurrence took place on 23.01.2025 but the F.I.R. was lodged on 04.02.2025 and there is no explanation for this delay. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the informant fled away from the house of the petitioner on 23.01.2025 and thereafter the petitioner had lodged an F.I.R. bearing Police Station Case No. 29 of 2025 on 23.01.2025. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 10.05.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of
