For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Ashok Kumar Kashyap For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Smt. Asha Devi ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Ghoswari P.S. Case No. 43 of 2016 instituted for the offence under sections 395 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that some miscreants having overtaken the tractor of the informant, looted it. In course of conversation, the miscreants were calling the name of the miscreants as Bhim and Ravi. The tractor has been recovered from the possession of the co-accused Ravi Kumar. He has stated in his statement before police that he has looted the tractor along with this petitioner. Perusal of para-3 of the petition goes to show that besides this case, six other cases have been registered against this petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.379 of 2017 (3) dt.27-02-2017 case as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.
