Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim of dowry death. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same and commission of death for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. Petitioner is in custody since 17.04.2017.

Considering the period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with S.T.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40678 of 2019(2) dt.02-07-2019 2/2 No. 20 of 2017/186 of 2017 arising out of Raj Nagar Police Station Case No. 184 of 2013, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
