2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 43 of 2024 dated 14.03.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 341, 323, 379, 354(B), 384, 307, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused person are alleged to have come to the informant's husband and demanded Rs. 25,000/- as rangdari and snatched his golden hanumani. The petitioner and the co-accused persons assaulted the informant's husband with iron rod due to which he sustained head injury and he fell down on the ground. On being

No.43604 of 2024(2) dt.03-07-2024 2/3 objected by the informant, the co-accused, Niranjan Kumar Mishra assaulted her and caught hold her hair and slammed down on the ground as a result she became half naked. Thereafter, local villagers gathered there then the accused persons fled away from the spot. The informant's husband was taken to the hospital for treatment.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner rather the allegation is general and omnibus. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. As per the injury report of the injured, the injury is caused by hard and blunt substance and the opinion regarding the said injury has been kept reserved. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 09.04.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43604 of 2024(2) dt.03-07-2024 3/3 the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Saharsa in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 43 of 2024.
