Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

The F.I.R. would reveal that wife of the petitioner died within one year of her marriage by consuming poison due to some quarrel with the petitioner. The case diary would reveal that the witnesses have supported the aforesaid allegation. Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charge or after completion of six months of custody, whichever is earlier on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34963 of 2018(3) dt.16-08-2018 2/2 each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Sikraul Police Station Case No.40 of 2018, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
