Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

04 Kg Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner on 16.02.2018, when the petitioner along with two others was going on a motorcycle.

Submission is that petitioner is blind from both eyes. Petitioner has got a criminal antecedent. The disability certificate does not show that the petitioner is complete blind from both the eyes rather he is blind from left eye. Traumatic cataract is there in the right eye. No.36469 of 2018(3) dt.27-08-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of one year of custody or after framing of the charge, whichever is earlier, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Hajipur (Town) Police Station Case No.100 of 2018, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
