The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegations in the F.I.R., the sister of the informant was married to the son of petitioner no.1. She was tortured for demand of dowry and ultimately done to death. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioners are the mother-in-law and the elder brotherin-law of the deceased. The allegations as levelled in the F.I.R. are false and concocted. The husband of the deceased is in custody. The petitioners are in custody since 20.6.2020 and have

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioners being in custody for over 1 year and their relationship with the deceased, the Court directs the two petitioners to be enlarged on bail in connection with Mokama P.S. Case no.17 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IV, Barh, Patna.
