The petitioner, has approached this Court invoking its writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by way of filing the present writ petition which was filed on 12.1.2015 with a prayer to direct the respondents to appoint him on compassionate ground. It has been claimed that his father died as Assistant Teacher in Government aided School. It has been stated in the writ petition that father of the petitioner left for

Patna High Court CWJC No.710 of 2015 (2) dt.25-01-2017 2/2 heavenly abode long back on 11.5.1993. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to Annexure -'12' to the present writ petition which too was issued long back on 12.7.2007. The Annexure -'12' is a letter issued by the District Superintendent of Education addressed to the District Collector, Munger wherein it was indicated that the father of the petitioner was not a Government employee and as such there was no question for granting benefit of appointment on compassionate ground. Keeping in view the fact that petitioner's father died long back on 11.5.1993 that too not as a Government servant, there is no question to entertain the present writ petition. The writ petition stands dismissed.
