2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024 instituted under Sections406 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner being the office attendance in the office of Nagar Panchayat, Sursand, Sitamarhi is accused of defalcating Rs. 6,65,912/-.

4. Considering the allegation of huge defalcation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

6. The petitioner is directed to surrender within two weeks from today and prays for regular bail, failing which the Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi will take all steps for arrest of the petitioner.
