This application has been filed for modification of order dated 18.06.2020 passed in Cr.Misc.No.6897 of 2020 whereby the petitioner was allowed anticipatory bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he approached the Court for furnishing bail bonds but his efforts were frustrated on account of limited functioning and restrictions imposed during Covid-19 Pandemic. Therefore, the bail bonds of the petitioner could not be furnished within time specified in the order. Thereafter, the petitioner presented this case through electronic mode, which was registered on 01.01.2021.

No.182 of 2021(2) dt.18-08-2021 2/2 Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into consideration the statements made in the modification application, this Court is inclined to extend the period for furnishing bail bonds of the petitioner by further four weeks from today.
