The petitioner is in custody since 20.08.2016 in connection with Barachati P.S. Case No.69 of 2012 registered for the offence under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the fact that the petitioner's name has surfaced in connection with the present case on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police, which has no evidentiary value, and that the petitioner has not yet been put on T.I.
