Case No. 379 of 2014 dated 10.06.2014, instituted for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail was earlier rejected by order dated 12.01.2018. The report sent from the court below reflects that three witnesses up till now have been examined. The petitioner is alleged to have fired from his weapon for killing the deceased.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has again drawn the attention of this Court to some of the mitigating features of this case, but considering the allegation against the petitioner of having fired and killed the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39353 of 2018(4) dt.07-09-2018 2/2 on bail for the present.
The prayer for bail of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably within a period of six months.
