This is an application for bail in connection with Rajpur P.S.Case No. 217 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR and it appears from the impugned order that he confessed his guilt before police and he is accused in 13 other cases also of serious nature under sections 302 and 395 IPC.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that except his confession there is nothing against the petitioner and so far criminal antecedents are concerned, he has been acquitted in four cases and he is in custody since 30.9.2016.

Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same within one year. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
