JUSTICE PRAKASH CHANDRA JAISWAL ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 385, 380 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. As per prosecution, co-accused Manoj Singh is said to have demanded extortion from the informant under threat to his life.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and nothing incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. There is no allegation of demand of extortion against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.03.2017. Co-accused ,Subodh Kumar Singh @ Subodh Singh has been enlarged on bail by a

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let, above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 5th A.C.J.M., Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Pakaridayal P.S.Case No.186 of 2015.
