(i) To issue an appropriate order/s, direction/s including a writ preferably in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the final result vide letter No.
WCDC/1288/23 dated 19.05.2023 published by Respondent No.2 for the selection to the post of 213 existing vacancies of women counselor against Advertisement No. 04/2023.
(ii) To direct the respondent No.2 to appoint the petitioner to the post in question who, besides essential
Patna High Court CWJC No.10906 of 2023(2) dt.11-03-2024 2/2 qualification, also possess law should be given preference in terms of Vacancy Notice No. 04/2022-23."

At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the Women and Child Development Corporation, Bihar, Patna, submits that the aforesaid advertisement in question has already stood cancelled, hence the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if it be so, the present writ petition be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
