2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 332, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 135 of the Electricity Act.

3. It is a case of theft of electricity by running a flour mill and rice mill. The total loss calculated by the Electricity Company is Rs. 13,79,638/-. Petitioner and other accused persons abused and assaulted the staff of the electricity department and also tried to kidnap the Executive Engineer.
