The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302/34 of IPC. Vide order dated 15.07.2019, a report was called for, regarding the stage of trial. In compliance thereof, a report sent by learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-I-cum-Spl. Judge, NDPS Act, Begusarai dated 25.08.2022, kept at flag 'A', whereby it is submitted that out of 10 chargesheet witnesses, six witnesses have been examined, rest two official witnesses (Investigating Office and Medical Officer) and two non-official witnesses are yet to be examined and the time likely to be taken in conclusion of the trial is about six months, if parties cooperate.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42018 of 2022(3) dt.21-09-2022 2/2 Considering the submissions made in the report, I am not inclined to grant bail bail to the petitioner named above. The prayer for bail is hereby rejected.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Superintendent of Police, Begusarai is directed to take steps for production of the prosecution witnesses for their examination as and when the date is fixed, so that the trial may be concluded within the time indicated herein above.
