Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 30(A) of the Excise Act.

Petitioner is in jail custody since 17.10.2016 on the accusation that 1305 pouches of country made liquor were recovered from a pickup van in which the petitioner was also found sitting along with one other co- accused.

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner is a student and does not have any criminal antecedent and, as a matter of fact, he has falsely been implicated in this case by the police on mere suspicion.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate
