2. The petitioners who apprehend arrest in connection with Lakhisarai P. S. Case No. 14/2025 lodged 12.01.2025, for the offences punishable under sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115 (2), 303(2), 109, 76, 352, 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution, the F.I.R. has been lodged against eight named accused persons, including the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43726 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/3 From the F.I.R., it transpires that the accused persons allegedly assaulted the informant's father, as a result of which he sustained a head injury and became unconscious.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. It is submitted that both the informant and the petitioners are agnates, and the present F.I.R. has been lodged with false and frivolous allegations. For the same date and place of occurrence, there exists a case and counter-case between the parties. In the case instituted by the petitioners, the informant has already been granted anticipatory bail. It is further submitted that the petitioners have a clean antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the injury report has been called for by the trial court. The trial court, in the order rejecting bail, has observed that the C.T. scan reveals multiple injuries on the head of the informant's father, which are grievous in nature.

7. In this background, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of
