2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kako P. S. Case No. 198/2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80(2), 238(A)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that daughter of informant was married with this petitioner Vikash Yadav in the year 2023 in accordance with Hindu rites and rituals. Subsequently, this petitioner, along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R., started demanding dowry and due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, daughter of informant was subjected to torture and cruelty and on 25.07.2024, informant received information that his daughter was killed by all the

4. Petitioner is husband of the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased committed suicide . Till date trial has not commenced, though petitioner is in custody since 19.10.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, tardy progress of trial and period of custody , the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SDJM, Jehanabad in connection with Kako P.
