The petitioner seeks bail in Pipra P.S. Case No. 295/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 447, 354(B), 326(A), 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3, 4 of Witchcraft Act. Allegation against the petitioner is he pulled down the informant on the ground by catching her hair. It has been submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case due to land dispute. Similarly situated coaccused has been granted anticipatory bail by this court, as contained in Annexure-3.

Petitioner is in custody since 12.04.2018.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
