The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 147, 148, 149, 323, 341 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, as a result of previous altercation relating to wearing of mask, it is stated that the petitioner fired from his pistol resulting in firearm injury on the uncle of the informant who was seriously injured and taken to the Danapur Hospital for treatment.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. There is case and counter case between the parties. The petitioner is in custody since 7.5.2021 and investigation in the case has

The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State who submits that the injury report supports the allegation against the petitioner as grievous injury caused by firearm has been found on the chest of the uncle of the informant.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the allegation against the petitioner together with the contents of the injury report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
