The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nathnagar P.S. Case No.917 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have committed murder of the daughter of the informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased and he never demanded any dowry. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

In view of the submissions, as made above, as petitioner is husband of the deceased and it appears from impugned order as well as FIR that the petitioner tortured the deceased for dowry and soon before the death of the deceased, the petitioner demanded cash of Rs.50,000/- as dowry and as marriage of the petitioner solemnized in the year 2019 with the deceased and it also appears from impugned order that cause of death is Asphyxia and shock due to combined effect of antemortem ligature strangulation and manu strangulation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, at present. 7.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.
