This is an application for bail in connection with Mansoorchak P.S. Case No. 31 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of dowry death and petitioner is said to be the husband of deceased. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated in this case as she has committed suicide by consuming poison. Further submission is that he is in custody since 12.6.2015.

Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33125 of 2017 (5) dt.13-09-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances and also considering the fact that trial has commenced, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible without giving unnecessary adjournment to the parties.
