2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 341, 384, 387, 427, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Petitioners along with other co-accused persons are said to have demanded ransom from the informant for the land purchased and subsequently burnt down JCB and damaged the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43517 of 2024(2) dt.10-07-2024 2/2 Hyva working at the fields of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that there is general and omnibus allegation levelled against the petitioners. He submits that the petitioners are not the members of any naxal group and the allegation of extortion by the informant is false as no date and time has been made by the informant in FIR. He submits that the informant want to grab the land of the informant and on protest, false case has been instituted. He further submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 562 of 2023.
