JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Mahila P.S. Case No.04 of 2017 registered under Sections 498(A), 406, 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation in brief is that the informant was married with the petitioner in a temple but after marriage she was asked for Rs.10 lacs as dowry and used to torture her. Now he has married with another woman.

It is submitted that the petitioner never married with the informant. No marriage was solemnized in a temple, so there is no question of demand of dowry. The petitioner has been in custody since 14.6.2017.

No.33010 of 2017 (3) dt.21-07-2017 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Pawan Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.04 of 2017.
