The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 30 (a) and 38(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. It is contended that, as per allegation, 190 litres of country-made liquor and 3.75 litres of foreign liquor were allegedly recovered from the tempo which is said to be owned by the petitioner. No.40413 of 2017(2) dt.25-08-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge-VIIcum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Aurangabad in connection with Amba P.S. Case No. 78 of 2017 with a condition that one of the bailors will be the resident of Bihar since the petitioner belongs to Jharkhand. Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
