In the present petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for directing the respondents to consider his case for appointment to the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector and call for interview pursuant to advertisement published in the year 2007.

In this case counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent /State and a specific stand has been taken that petitioner though had applied but since the application of the petitioner was not in accordance with the provisions of Bihar

Patna High Court CWJC No.9217 of 2011 (5) dt.05-07-2016 2/2 State Transport (Technical) Cadre Rules, 2003 his application was already rejected. To this counter affidavit no reply has been filed. Since pursuant to advertisement, which was published in the year 2007 itself, the application of the petitioner was rejected on technicality, at this stage, after lapse of such a long time, no relief can be granted to petitioner The writ petition stands dismissed.
