Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 342, 323, 386, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedents and the informant alleges that on 2-6-2024, while he was going to Rafiganj at 8 a.m., with his friend Raja Kumar and when they reached near a canal, when they were intercepted by the accused persons including the petitioner and the accused persons demanded extortion of Rs. 80,000/- and when the informant refused to part with the extortion money, it is alleged that the accused persons tied the informant with tree and assaulted him and thereafter
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42952 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/3 snatched his gold chain and mobile along with Rs. 10,000/-. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant by the informant. It is next submitted that similarly situated co-accused had moved before the learned District Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing ABP No. 2025 of 2024 and the same was allowed by an order dated 5-9-2024, but then, when the case of the petitioner was considered by a different court, the order passed by the learned ADJ-II in ABP No. 2025 of 2024 was taken note of, but then the petitioner was directed to surrender for seeking regular bail.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Konch P.S. Case No. 225 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under
